Is your bedroom a haven of peace and relaxation? Or a pit of things to do and stuff to fall over?
Without needing to be perfect, it's a good idea to have low clutter levels in your bedroom to promote better sleep and a peaceful start and end to each day.
Bec & Tara talk about ways to keep your bedroom clutter-free this week, with their tips and tricks (and Tara's bedside table hack that knocked Bec's socks off) and insights into why we should reduce the clutter in or bedrooms, and how to do it!
There's talk of dogs and moths, chairdrobes and falling down, tea and wine. Yep, all in the bedroom!

After talking about the books last week, Bec & Tara tackle Kondo’s “Tidying Up” show on Netflix.
From making Bec cry and having her talking to her house, to frustrating her. From helping Tara have her towels look amazing, to having her wondering how Kondo’s clothes stayed so neat and tidy; the show is dismantled and pondered over.
Looking at it through both personal and professional lenses, they provide their take on the pros and cons of the show, the positive and negative attention it’s getting, highlighting the bits they loved, and the bits they thought were lacking, they’ll give you an insight into the show that may, or may not, help you.

Kondo-mania is sweeping Australia. This diminutive Japanese Tidying Queen's Netflix series has everyone in a frenzy of decluttering, with charities overloaded and everyone "Konmari-ing" their homes.
So as seasoned professionals that do what she does, Bec & Tara are asked a LOT what they think of the show, the method she uses and the "quirks" of her techniques.
In this episode they talk about her two books - "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up"and "Spark Joy" with their personal and professional reactions to them.
Next week we'll talk about the TV Show.

This week we hear the last part of Jacinta's story. After leaving her abusive relationship, Jacinta's life changes in many ways, with "stuff" taking centre stage.
Trigger warning: Note that this episode discusses an abusive relationship and involves children so you can avoid that content by skipping to another episode or opting out this week.

Following on from last week's episode on toxic relationships, this week Tara chats to Jacinta, whose story about an abusive relationship covers a few of our themes, from toxic relationships to how we feel about our "stuff" as it comes and goes from our lives.
Trigger warning: this episode is a true story that contains content that discusses emotional and psychological abuse, and it does include children.

Sometimes clutter takes forms other than of our physical surrounds. We can carry clutter with us as habits, beliefs and relationships, to name a few.
This week we chat about toxic relationships. What are they and we do we have them? And why do we stick with them?
Learn some questions to ask yourself to identify if you have any toxic relationships, and some strategies to remove or protect yourself from their damaging effects.
Bec and Tara don't talk about their toxic relationship - they prefer to just pretend to like each other (KIDDING!).

New Year, new planner? This week Bec and Tara talk about the different types of diaries and planners you can use, specifically the differences between paper planners and digital planners. They discuss the pros and cons of each.
Tara has a new planner this year that she's excited about, and Bec is continuing with her bullet journaling (if you're interested in learning about it she does give a curious Tara a rundown on the basics), so there's a bit more paper chat than digital chat, but hey, that's one of their similarities so there wasn't anything to argue about or laugh at each other about!

Happy New Year! Welcome to 2019!
This week Bec & Tara dip their toes in the waters of New Year's Resolutions (sorry, it's a hot day, I have water on the brain...not literally...) and discuss how they work (or don't work) and how you might be able to have the best of both worlds - inspiration from the start of the New Year, and success in achieving your goals.
If you really want New Year's resolutions, but they never work for you, give Bec & Tara's suggestions a try. You might find you really kick some goals in 2019.

What sentimental items can't you get go of?
Do you buy souvenirs?
Should I go into my kids' rooms and clear them out when they're not around?
Were you always organised and uncluttered?
How do you find homes for things?
These are just a few of the (sometimes curly!) questions (or quristions as Tara likes to call them... hee hee) that we've been asked by our listeners, and we have a good shot at answering them!
Bec was a little loose with the editing this week, she was feeling frisky. She left a few bloopers in for your amusement. You're welcome ;)

When the jingle bells are quiet, you have a fridge full of leftovers (mmmm.....pav...), the presents are all unwrapped, you're sick of wine (is that possible??), and the friends and family all leave, what next?
How do you store your Christmas decorations? When do you pack up? What do you do with all the rubbish? Do you keep the paper, cards and ribbons? Do you pack up the tree on New Years Day like Tara or do you leave it up until practically Easter like Bec does?
These tips and tricks will help you recover from Christmas and give Future You a few gifts of organisation to make life a little easier post-Christmas.
